Pilar Albarracín (Seville) is one of the most established Spanish artists of her generation, recognised on the international art scene. In her multidisciplinary work (film, performance, installation, photography, craft), she combines social commitment and formal aesthetics. For Fiesta, the artist is presenting several pieces, which explore the festive theme and different forms of celebration.
In the street, En la Piel del Otro will be brought to life during the parade, a performance that will resonate deeply with Techo de Ofrendas, which will be on display at the Palais Rihour (Salle Conclave). This installation, consisting of hundreds of hanging flamenca dresses, will include those worn during the parade.
