After being exhibited at the Etoile de Mouvaux, the mural “Amoute !” is now on display at ShAKe Lille, allowing as many people as possible to appreciate Roxane Campoy’s work, which pays tribute to our region.
This colourful fresco on paper, measuring over eight metres, depicts a joyful procession celebrating the major festivals of northern France: the Dunkirk Carnival, the Mouvaux Festival of Lights, the Giants of the North, the Calais Dragon and the kites of the Opal Coast.
Roxane Campoy is an illustrator and animated film director whose heart is torn between still and animated creations. Her creations are colourful, bold, painted in gouache, inspired by Japanese engravings and Western advertising posters.
