Roxane Campoy

Grands Boulevards, Mouvaux
26 April - 24 September 2025

Roxane Campoy is an illustrator and director, who was born in Nogent-sur-Marne and now lives in Lille. Unable to decide between still and animated, she does both! Since directing a global campaign for UNESCO in 2020, with Passion Paris, she has collaborated on a series of works with Ted-Ed and Maison Bonami. Her films and illustrations are colourful, high in contrast, gouache-painted and inspired by the compositions of Japanese and Western engravings.

Her mural depicts a parade that is divided into several parts, moving upwards as the work progresses. Firstly, a handful of latecomers join the Dunkirk Carnival, next come the lights of Mouvaux, followed by the Giants of the North and the Calais Dragon, which are rounded off by kites on the Opal Coast.
