The exhibition The Party, an Inner Experience proposed by Fabrice Bousteau invites visitors into a swirling vortex of joy and celebration!
Why do we need to party? Going beyond sequinned outfits and disco balls, what actually occurs inside our bodies when we let our hair down on the dancefloor? What happens in our heads and hearts during these moments of pleasure and abandon, when the excesses of the night turn dance into trance?
This exhibition brings together around twenty emerging and recognised artists, who explore the effects of partying on the body. Without claiming to be exhaustive, an immersive and sensory-based approach offers visitors a truly jubilatory experience, exploring the emotional and physiological phenomena produced during celebrations. Whether movements, shivers, contractions, beats or breathing patterns, the exhibition transports us to the heart of the emotions and feelings that take hold of human organs and limbs when intoxicated by the electrifying atmosphere of a night out.
A biochemical cocktail within us encourages the body and soul to be swept up in a festive surge that can even create a form of collective euphoria.
Festive and dance performances will enrich the visitor experience and boost the celebratory atmosphere.
