As with every lille3000 cultural season, children and young people from Lille, Hellemmes and Lomme have been hard at work all year preparing Môm’Art, the exhibition by children and for children and their families.
Working alongside their teachers, extra-curricular activity leaders, artists in residence and artistic contributors, more than 5,000 children imagined their ideal festival through its universal components: shared food, sounds, movements, costumes and festive objects. They’re inviting you to join them for a truly colourful and delicious carnival!
From nursery school to high school, the children and young people have written, drawn, cut out, filmed, imagined, constructed, performed, made, painted, danced, read, photographed, glued, sung, signed… They’ve worked together, discovered their talents, met artists, had fun and surpassed themselves!
