An unforgettable Opening Fiesta!
As with every major event since 2006, lille3000 launched this new themed season with an Opening Fiesta in Lille on Saturday 26 April 2025, featuring a huge festive parade through Lille city centre, carried by dozens of artistic companies and hundreds of participants. The parade was followed by a spectacular fireworks display, light show and DJ set on the Esplanade du Champ de Mars.
Over 300,000 people gathered in the streets of Lille to celebrate this colourful launch. Once again, the celebrations were participatory, with local residents invited to take part after several months of preparation in their neighbourhoods and communes.
